Chinook Construction is a locally owned general contracting business in Boulder, Colorado, with over 30 years of experience. We specialize in building custom homes, as well as larger scale additions and remodels, in Boulder and the surrounding foothills and plains communities. Chinook Construction has decades of local construction experience, providing years of connections, practical and trusted advice, and sound budgeting and project management. Working with numerous architects has allowed Chinook to develop knowledge in all aspects of the construction process and in the ever advancing fields of construction science in order to incorporate the latest advancements in energy efficiency and materials into our projects.
The founder of Chinook Construction, Robb Kimbrough, has been building in Boulder since 1992. He has completed dozens of new builds, as well as countless additions and remodels. His extensive knowledge and experience gives him insights into all of the steps needed to take your project from start to completion. He has always been a very hands-on general contractor, personally providing the project management and job site field supervision for all of his projects. His greatest satisfaction comes from being on the job site, working with all of the very experienced sub-contractors and tradesmen, to make sure that the finished project is exactly what his clients were dreaming of.
Travis Haggart took over ownership of Chinook Construction in 2022. For over 25 years, Travis has worked exclusively on residential construction projects in the Boulder area. He is an experienced tradesman in all stages of construction, from foundation to finish. For the last 10 years he has worked as site supervisor / lead for Chinook Construction, gaining insight and connection to all of the people and ideals that have made Chinook a long term success. He is continuing the Chinook Construction philosophy of the general contractor also being the day-to-day project manager and on-site lead. Robb Kimbrough remains actively involved in project management for Chinook as Travis takes over the duties of ownership.
